FS: 135i aFe Axleback Exhaust - SOLD

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
I am buying a BMW PE because I am getting a great deal on one, so I want to sell my current one, which I had on the car for less than 500 miles.

It is an aFe Mach Force XP Exhaust. Less than 500 miles on it!

I am looking for $325 picked up or $400 shipped to 48 States in the US. Will ship International, but have to pay additional for shipping.

Link to the product info page:

Link to how it sounds:

"Somewhere" isn't very specific... If you want it picked up, you should post your location

Just curious.
What did you do with your stock midpipe?
I may be interested in it.

The stock midpipe is still on the car, i just removed the oem axleback and replaced it with the aFe. It's a simple bolt-on, no cutting required.

Would it be possible to cut and weld a pipe onto that resonance chamber and take it to the other side for a quad setup? Im installing a 1m diffuser, if I can do that, that would save me a whole lot of headache.

Is their a path through the back side of the bumper for a 3" pipe to get on the other side? My cars apart, no bumper on can't tell much.

An exhaust shop can definitely remove the resonance chamber and weld on a pipe to the exhaust. But, I am not sure about getting a pipe over to the other side. I assume there is a way, as a lot of people on the forum are running quad exhausts.

Hi TwinTurboed,

Then you must have the original resonator section removed to install the aFe?

Nope, nothing removed. It's a simple bolt on. Remove 2 bolts, unhook the stock exhaust, bolt on the aftermarket. Literally takes 20 mins once you have the car on a lift.

Take a look at the attached picture (not the exhaust I am selling, but similar), that's where the clamps bolt on.

How does the BMW PE compare? Just curious as I'm looking to choose between the two.

Thanks!

PE definitely sounds slightly better because you are cutting the resonator off. But this exhaust sounds really good, very close to how the PE sounds. Other than the sound, the few advantages this exhaust has is, easy install, no cutting required, a simple bolt on. That also makes it easier to go back to stock.
This exhaust will also be cheaper to buy and install because its simple. Where as with the PE, you have pay 900$ for the parts, then probably another $200 to get it installed unless you can DIY.

Good luck!

Thank You! I am also considering making the leap to go for a full system from berk technology.Installation would be DIY.
