Fault codes galore!!!

Earlier today I hit the start button and whamo - dsc malfunction -
Start off disabled - engine malfunction/reduced power drive with caution...

So I shut off the car - waited a few seconds - restarted and...

No warnings at all - drove it for a good 30 miles - some high revving and when I was about to shut it off - I did the "Check Control Messages" on i-Drive and it said "all systems ok"

anyone else have this happen before?

Garage List
I had a DSC malfunction while driving straight on the highway this summer. It went away after restarting the car. I thought everything was OK and ignored it. Two months later I got the error again while driving straight on the highway. This time, I took it to the dealer and they said there was a faulty SZL sensor (steering angle sensor) and replaced it under warranty. I would recommend getting it check out.

How old is the car or more importantly, the battery? When the battery gets old or is wekak it can have trouble holding a charge. These electronic gremlins are sometimes a symptom. You may also find yourself having to reset the date and time or have your key setting lost.

What does DCT have to do with an error message about a DSC fault?
