Mt. Baker drive August 4th
Mt. Baker is melting out and Artist point is now open so let's go for a drive! We will have the option for a standard route or an extended route with more twisties on the backroads. The main stops will be Artist Point at the end of the highway and North Fork Brewery for beer and eats. I do this drive at least once per year for the excellent roads and the delicious beer and pizza. Meet up locations: Meet up #1: 9am sharp- Starbucks at 3701 88th St NE, Marysville WA Meet up #2: 9:45, leaving at 10am - Haggen Grocery at 757 Haggen Dr, Burlington WA - Meet in south end of parking lot. Ending point: North Fork Brewery, Beer Shrine, and Pizzaria at 6186 Mount Baker Highway (arrive around 2pm?) No joke, some of the best beer in the state that you can only get here. Who's invited: Anyone who likes to drive and isn't a jackass. Long route: http://goo.gl/maps/eHgiA (preferred) Standard shorter route: http://goo.gl/maps/vBK2D This drive will be rescheduled if it is not sunny out on day of drive. EDIT: This drive is a definite GO for this sunday. Current list of attendees: 1. Transfer (phone 206-518-184one) 2. Fen335i 3. PetoM3 4. Kerrit 5. UGADawgfan 6. go hawks (maybe) 7. Islander 8. froz_v Last edited by Transfer; 08-03-2013 at 05:53 PM.. |

I could meet you up in Bellingham as well...or somewhere farther south off of I-5 since you will probably be traveling through those towns...Everett or , Arlington, Marysville?

Yeehaw this gunna be fun. So where does everyone want to meet up? Since I'm the only one coming from Seattle, we'll scrap Northgate. Here's an idea:
Meet up #1: 9am - Starbucks at 3701 88th St NE, Marysville WA Meet up #2: 9:45-10am - Haggen Grocery at 757 Haggen Dr, Burlington WA - Meet in south end of parking lot. Thoughts? |
