New Member with a few pics to share

Hi All... After much lurking, I finally joined this forum. Before I introduce myself, I would really like to thank everyone for all the invaluable knowledge I have received on this forum- (A special thanks to 'flym5' and 'used2be' who made me aware of the backing plates for the air box, which I got fitted at dealers cost)

I have my car since October 2012 and have enjoyed every moment with it!

Recently I have got my roof, boot lid, mirrors, badges, side vents, front kidney grills, back diffuser, air intakes and front head lights wrapped... I know it might not be to everyone's taste but let me know what u all think?!

-Attached also is a pic of a bag which I have received today from my brother (early birthday gift) which I thought would be really cool to share.

I like the black accents, especially the roof. I personally would prefer the whole rear diffuser in black, but thats just nit picking.

Nicely done.

Welcome - I feel like the diffuser should be fully wrapped. The cuts dont seem to look as clean as they should be - probably because its angled.

Yes, I've never seen the black and white theme done that way, interesting. Maybe others have seen the headlight wrap before, but I haven't and I like it. You did ask what we think, so I'll throw my opinion out there. To my eye a change that would improve the flow of contrast would be to blacken the roof antenna and the narrow side rails on each side of the roof. The black roof with a white colored car accentuates the white of the narrow side rails and they don't flow into the rear window very well. Also, with the roof side rails black the flowing curve of the front windshield pillars are more evident, which I like.

Nice...I don't know if I would do it, but I admire that fact that you did something different and unique that is tasteful. Enjoy.

I like where you are headed with this. Nice looking ride, but I think I may have gone for a satin black finish on the front and back.

I am personally enjoying the intake color of the front being black - that along with the roof looks great!

I think Vic55 also did something similar with his roof (?) I thought it looked great then, and still now!

Now, time for a different exhaust to fill out that valence just a bit more!

Congrats Sir!!!

visually I personally like the styling of the cls better then the m5 as well as the sound, it sounds phenomenal. I think the steering wheel is to light and very vague compared to the m5. What's really surprising is that the m5's seats are way more comfortable. I haven't raced the the two cars and while the cls does feel faster in a straight line I think the m5's still quicker. Overall I think the M5 is a way better and more practical car however for some reason the cls feels a little more special. I do really love the roar of an AMG!.

The front vinyl work looks cool but the diffuser looks a bit too much.

I like what you did to the mirror caps.
