Another 900+whp Evo

Yeah, that's right another 900+whp Evo!

This one was just finished up very recently, pretty impressive.

More info on the turbo kit; http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=284469

Maybe the 335i will get here someday..

If the N54 ever reaches that level, good luck with traction. Remember an Evo is AWD so they will never have the problems we do.

i don't know...Mitsu motors are pretty strong out of the box. At least their bottom end is. BMW has two more cylinders. I think it can be done in time. Give it a few years.

AA has a e46 M3 turbo that pushes out 1000hp.

Have you ever seen an evo with more then 800hp at the 1/4 mile? Even on slicks that thing jumps all over he place before actually getting some grip. It looks like it is much harder to control then a high powered RWD car off the line.

Well sure, there's not much you can do about that when you stick a GT42R on a 2.0L motor. Fortunately shifting at 9500rpm you'll never drop out of boost.

IMO, you ruin what the Evo is when you put a turbo that big on it. Evo's are supposed to be fast in a straight line, but also brake and turn. Once you go with a turbo this big, it becomes straight line only.

I just think it's amazing how strong the motors are. The stock block will handle 550whp all day long if you keep the revs down.

The Evo trans is just as impressive. All these 900-1000whp Evo's are on the stock trans. They are rebuilt with tighter tolerances, but that's about it. Stock gears, stock synchros... This car does have a $4000+ clutch on it though..

Anyway, just wanted to share the latest monster Evo with you guys!

Just wanted to update this a little bit.

The car was recently tuned, as well as changing the hotside and cams.

Result?

Maxed out the dyno at 1000whp...

Below is the dyno sheet and video of the pulls, you can see it goes flat for a few hundred rpms. I would guess it's pushing 1015whp - 1020whp or so.. Should get into the 8's without too much trouble.

The video says this is a world record. Most of the other 1000+whp Evo's are running a 2.1L or 2.3L, this one is still on the 2.0L.

Oh, and ETS, is looking to develop 335i parts..

Wow

What was that flame that shot out of the front of the car at the end of the dyno run?
