The driver probably heard that 'the car handles like its on rails' so he decided to see if there is a difference
Doesn't appear to be totaled though, hopefully driver was nothing more than emotionally shook up.

Title sounds more spectacular than what actually happened: VO 1M swerved off road and ended up on a rail track.
Never healthy to go sideways over the curb and train track rails. Difficult to see, but the rear wheel on the left seems a bit clipped.

Seriously the car damage doesn't look to bad , but man check out the rail about 10 feet behind the car. Those alloy wheels put a hurten on that hardened steel rail. :
