Is Anderson Silva beatable?
I think the only fighter who has a chance beating him in Johnny "Bones". GSP would get murdered, sorry to say.
Lets hear it. Who (of any) has a chance at beating him? I cant believe how bad he got dominated for 4.5 rounds to come back and beat Sonnen! |

He's the real deal. Followed his career for a long time. I think he's the greatest to ever step into the octagons. Agreed Jon Jones is his only test but if I was a betting man I would still bet Silva.

Jones vs Silva will never happen and neither will GSP vs Silva.
Silva is not unbeatable as his record shows. However, it takes someone very good/lucky to beat a man that has a good jaw, natural heavy hands and a gift for timing like he does. Couple that with the fact he always comes prepared unlike a lot of others that have certain natural abilities. I always find his fight entertaining. |

His timing is brilliant and he has the ability to hit people exactly where it hurts most causing them to drop, even where the shot itself is just a simple jab. The Jones v Silva would be a great fight but it wouldnt surprise me if Silva KO's Jones either. He seems to be able to finish opponents at will so long as he has some space. Jones has devastating elbows on the ground but silva only needs a few seconds on his feet.

No doubt. I dont think his hands are necessarily "heavy", its just the precision and speed at which he strikes. He has super natural abilities and talents, no question. We were assured that when he knocked Vitor out with a freakin front kick. I mean.. Vitor...and a front kick... I was watching it live and still almost didn't believe what I saw!!

agreed that anyone is beatable, Ryo Chonan pulled off one of the most spectacular subs I've ever seen and was able to get Anderson to tap
I dont think the Jon Jones of today would beat Anderson but every day that goes by, that kid gets better and better, while Anderson gets older. Which is the reason that fight is never gonna happen, both guys have too much too lose. Its not fair to compare Anderson body to Jon Jones and say that why he win, Jon Jones has 84" reach, HW dont even have that reach, think only Struve gets close, Anderson is tall and skinny like Jon but thats where two comparisons stop. I really dont know what it is but Anderson has incredible power, he hits people w/ what looks like lil jabs and they do mega damage. He is too fast, accurate and the best timing in MMA. IMO, the only one beating Anderson right now is father time |

really u think that Silva won that fight, I think that Sonnen pulled somekthing and fell and got beat, I wish that wasnt how the fight ended.
I watched the fight from the 4th row in vegas. It was a bit disapointing but w.e. he lost |

thats the fight game, you make one mistake against someone like Anderson and you're done. Meanwhile Anderson made a huge mistake in the first round and Sonnen wasnt able to do anything, so yes Anderson won that fight

Sonnen didn't pull anything. He made a mistake and if you do that to a fighter like A.Silva, you better get ready to recover asap or you'll be finished shortly.

I think Jones v.s. Silva would be a the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight for MMA... everybody wants to see it but it probably won't happen any time soon...
I think Jones would have a really good chance of beating Silva... either meet in the middle of their weights or Silva go up in weight like he did v.s. Forest Griffin. |
