New Guy (FNG) Intro

I just wanted to say hello to everyone….. I'm new to the forum and to BMW. I ordered a Le Mans Blue E92 M3, built on 9 May 2012 and patiently waiting for shipment, hopefully it will arrive by the end of June or first of July. I am an American who currently lives in South Korea (hence the Seoul in my user name). I joined up a couple weeks back and find this forum to be the best out of all I’ve seen, great info and good people from what I’ve read.

So to the other people on this forum who are in South Korea, hope to talk or see you soon.

Congrats! I also ordered mine 2 weeks ago and still waiting.. ;( And I'm a Korean raised in Canada/America lol

Peahi, just the few weeks I've been waiting has been a killer, but it should be worth the wait..... The BMW rep here, said LeMans Blue is not a color they ship here so I should stand out from the others ... also, a lot of aftermarket tuner shops here for mods ... I just have to order from the states if I want to save money .. parts for euro cars are expensive here.

Congrats! I'm a new M3 owner too. I actually travel to Seoul quite often for business these days (I have been there twice in the last 6 weeks...and I bought my M3 in between those 2 trips, heh), so maybe next time I'm in Seoul I'll get a chance to see your M3!

The roads in the city are O.K., but the highways are way better. The good thing is all speed cams are posted on navigation units here and most areas cops to run radar are marked as well. There are several tracks here, to include the new F1 International Speedway which I believe is open to certain groups. One particular group I will be calling is a BMW club, I believe have already driven on it. Gas is crazy expensive, but I am here working for the US government so I can buy gas on the military base which is the same as the states.
