Halleluja
Just want to share my good news.
This morning I viewed my "Track My BMW" and discovered it has begun production. I Placed my order 29 days ago on 2/28/12. I am one happy man right now. |

Yes I called the 800 number yesterday. Auto response was it is still on order awaiting production schedule. Spoke with a service rep and he said he thought it would go into production in a few day. Called the dealership, as recommended by the service rep, and they said it should go into production the first week of April. That is why I was totally surprised to see it in production today.
I began thinking about all the different places to get information on the production status. So I made the 800 telephone call and was informed by automation that my car was scheduled for production but no date has been assigned. I then spoke with the customer service rep who said that the car went into production on the 26th. I guess the thing to do is look at the "Track My BMW", speak with the customer service rep and call your dealership to find the answers. Last edited by sochermit; 03-28-2012 at 12:32 PM.. |

I had the best luck calling the 800 number and talking to a representative while it was in Europe. Once it got on the ship, my dealership had that info. Then it was a matter of watching the ship slowly cross the ocean through the ship tracking.
