Weird Noise

tonight i noticed a weird noise i never heard before or is it normal.. Its coming from the passenger rear wheel/tire area... Only happens when i accelerate from a dead stop. Once i start rolling then as i past 10mph it disappears while I'm driving the car. It then reappears when i hit the brake pedal and slowing down to a stop then clicking noise starts back up right before the car stops still.. Unless its continuous while car is moving..BUt I'm 99% sure it happens like i said...IM pissed off don't know what the &@*! it is!!! it sounds like i aluminum can is being hit with a stick!!... A soda can flicking it with your finger thats the best way i can describe it!!! Has anyone heard anything like this before?? :h elp:

What he said. Happens all the time. They usually throw themselves, but will need to be removed if they start making a grinding sound. You'll know it when you hear it.

Hi,

I had this same problem, and the dealer found that it was from a slight drag of the rear brake pads just after braking. The dealer "removed, cleaned and lubed brake pad backings." I've not heard this noise since leaving the dealer.

Hope this helps,

Jeremy
