I want to upgrade my HK L7 system! help!
I have a 11 E90 M3 with Harmon Kardon L7 and iDrive. What are the most clean and best efficient way to upgrade this system? I am going to buy two 8" SWS as everyone here claimed it helps. How about my mids and tweeters? Or even a sub. I don't really want to sacrifice weight and space but it is okay if my system sounds good. Any special harness required? Please PM me.
I mainly listen to Pop, R&B, electronic, and hip hop. Oh this M3 is in Taiwan. It doesn't have EPS or HiFi. Thanks in advance! |

One subwoofer is good for those who listen to classical, rock, or country, while two are more suited to those listening to rap, r&b, or techno. Choose an amplifier to power your new subwoofers if they aren't powered subwofers. You want something that comes as close to producing RMS power equal to the max RMS rating of your subs without going over that rating.

Does HK get a different stereo option than the rest of us>? what is this Harmon kardon L7 system? I thought the upgrade was the dirac system that we all have who upgraded. How does htis harmon kardon l7 compare to the premium dirac

The OP is in Taiwan, the M3 over there offers the Logic7 option.

so wierd how bmw has all these little tweaks based on country. Doesn't that cost them more having to do that instead of standarizing the options? Why have L7 and the Dirac available (or if they are not both an option to them, why not? ) Seems they could streamline options to be the same for all offerings.
