Hey man

it was nice talking to you. i'll be at bimmerfest if you want to check out my setup. You might want to try
http://www.mandrelbendingsolutions.com/ They are in pasadena on Mt Road.

I stopped by there for another project. The said they could fabricate an xpipe for me for a couple of hundred. They should be able to do the exhaust mod.

Do you have any clips of how your exhaust sounds? Did you just get the xpipe?

are you talking about the periokid mod or something different?...i know kmarei has a modded oem exhaust that he's very happy with as well, but i'm not sure how that mod was done...perhaps similar to the periokid mod?

Mach V motorsport in Sterling has installed titanium exhausts on M3s before, i'm sure Dan and the crew there could help you out. Highly recommend them.

Yes this the mod I am talking about. I'm trying to see if it's worth doing or just buying a Magen style exhaust for $550 I would like to do the own exhaust mid to keep everything looking oem clean.

I strongly recommend Piper. I bought a megan tt exhaust and the tips were welded upside down. I called Piper and spoke to Robbie. Within a week i was at their shop getting my exhaust fixed. Theyre very fair with their prices and dont charge you an arm and a leg. As for picking up the tab, megan did pull through and refund me 100% the amount Piper charged to fix the exhaust. I recommend the megan exhaust, although it was a pain in the ass having to fix it. For 600 its not a bad exhaust. Just make sure when you get it to check your tips and make sure they arent on backwards. I am still considering purchasing an x-pipe from megan when and if it comes out and having Piper install it.
