2007 335i trade for 2010 base m3
All, this is my first post...here goes...
I have a 2007 335i sedan I bought new in Nov 2008 from a BMW dealer...it has the premium/sport/cold weather packages, 18k miles, in generally great shape, no navigation though. I've found a 2010 M3 coupe with 2,700 miles, base model, manual (which I really want - I love manuals, or should I think otherwise?): I've heard a few shady things about these guys. They've offered to charge $30k (before taxes) for the 2010 m3 after my trade. I went and saw the car, it is in great shape as far as I can tell, and has the warranty til 2013. I haven't driven it yet. I like the idea of the newer model year, and I'm trying not to spend too much money, so I could live without all of the options, as nice as they would be. Is this a good deal? Should I spend a little more (I'd rather spend a little less!) to get something else? Would the resale on a base model like this be a disaster? What should I worry about if I do buy this car to make sure its not a problem car? The carfax and one other report show its clean... Thanks in advance for any thoughts! ps i live in chicago, only average 6k miles a year, but need to drive it in the snow (my 335i was great once I put snow tires on it) Last edited by anodyne88; 03-21-2011 at 09:22 PM..
