Radio not showing \"ST\"

I asked about this in the radio forum but I don't think people hang there as much as here and I'm going in for service in the morning. Can anyone with a 06-08 tell me if their radio shows "ST" in their display. My 03 shows it but the 07 doesn't. They both have the same 677 hifi but I've heard the quality has gone down and it's obvious to my ears. Only thing is the iPod doesn't sound as crappy as the FM does. I'm gonna bitch about it tomorrow in service but just want to make sure I have a case. thanks!

Really.... Thx guys. Something as simple as turning on your radio and I can't get a little help. Now the dealer wants to keep the car a couple of days while they run "tests" with their engineers because they are not sure if our cars show "ST" on the display or not. And they are trying to say zero bass and distorted sound is acceptable for the hifi prof. sound system. Since my other Z4 is an 03 I can't say they are exactly the same and argue it.
