Ok, Let's try this again. I am a new M Coupe owner again...

Ok, here are some preliminary pics of my Second Silbergrau...

So the car is safe for at least a week. I will post better pics when it arrives from Charleston. Left on Sat, supposedly will take 7-10 days.

Anyone have experiance with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires on these cars ?

Nice, congrats. I'm sure the anticipation has been building but one more week isn't bad!

It sure has been getting bad now...I just want to drive it, I don't want to talk to insurance people or car salesman anymore. I just want to drive and love it....

I travel with an UZI now, so I preemptively strike so it won't happen again.

I was using the ps a/s in the fall, and they're better than the stock contis. I like them.. Never had ps2s so I can't give an under-over comparison

The cars are identical except for the fact it has carbon leather interior trim opposed to brushed aluminum. And it has 10,000 more miles..

It was built 4 months newer so I suppose thats a plus.

I like the Carbon Leather. It remains how it will age over the years, but who cares, it looks good now. I'm happy you've found a replacement!

RE: Contis, man, you can say that again. I hated those tires (until I chunked the hell out of them at a car control clinic) which resulted in their demise (best thing ever for the car). Worst case you would want something more summer oriented part of the year in Seattle and could swap those out with the A/S that come with it for the wetter colder months.

Got my fingers crossed for you on this one.

yeah great looking car like i said, i like the A/S. dont know that other tires you run, but theyre pretty solid. not uber grippy, but definitely confidence-inspiring, and slidable with 255's on the butt.

I have the Pilot Sport A/S on my AWD Inifiniti G35x. It's got great grip in the wet and snow...dry is pretty good as well but it's hard to compare to summer tires. I've been very happy with them as an all around tire for my AWD sedan.

Congrats!
All seasons = all year round compromise, I personally prefer summers + M/S

Must be a relief though to get settled on another one. On odds alone, this has got to be the one. You just weren't meant for a car with the aluminum trim! Carbon leather should hold up no different than extended leather, no worries there. You'll get people asking to trade your carbon leather for their aluminum. Glad you got what you were after.

Well all I know at this point is that it cost 1100. The dealer arranged it.
