M badge on my 2.2?
Hello!
Im considering M badges on my 2.2 ESS Roadster. I know that its a little odd with M badges on an non M, but since I have complete M-look its maby ok!! Its not an M3 or M5 badge that are silly on a 320i or 520i, just an M badge that are accepted on a 320i or 520i with M-package... Whats members opinion on this? Normally, I'd say hell no. In your case, I still say no, but only cuz I don't think it needs it.
Beautiful car man.

My opinion: don't do it. It's taking a beautiful car, and turning it into a cheap replica of something it isn't.
Just my 2c, in the end do whatever makes you happy since it's your car |

I usually debadged my cars for cleaner looks! You know what you have (and real cars' guy will know it too). That being said, do whatever you want. It is your car! |

ur car looks absolutely stunning as is, but please don't resort to faux m badges to 'complete' the m-look. u don't need them, and i think it takes away from the tastefully modded nature of ur roadster! it looks exceedingly clean as it is!

Your car is simply stunning as it is now!!!
Like others have said, its your car and you should do as you wish. But clearly, your car stands on its own merit. In my opinion, you don't need the M badge on such a fine machine.

Completely agree with all of the above. That looks amazing as it is. It would cheapen what you've accomplished to make it something it isn't. But, as said above it IS your car. Enjoy. Looks awesome!

Agree with the above, but suggest perhaps creating your own logo. Alpina is a unique line whose badge few cars carry because of their unique, but complete and seamless modifications that are relative rarities. Perhaps you could create your own "brand." It would be more meaningful to you since you want something, not dilute the uniqueness of your car, and would also tell genuine enthusiasts (like us) that there is more than meets the eye and to look closely.
Awesome car.

Thanks for all response
So its an no go for M badges Here in Norway it is like 5-6 Z4M roadsters, so you have to be a Z4 fanatic to recognize a Z4M. But with the M logo its likely that people see what it is(looks like) So I have to consider it.... |

Wow that looks better than genuine M's!
Those front splitter pieces under the corners of the front bumper, Who makes them and where could I get some?

Im debadging my ass as the second thing on the to-do-list when taking it out of storage.

I don't know why everyone is advising against the M badges.
I think they would go nicely with a sock in your pants and maybe a Porsche jacket? |

I've got to agree with everyone else--looks great as is!
Given the penalties, I'd try to do everything I could to keep it stealth. Adding badges just makes is stand out more--aside from the fact it's clean and not needed IMO. |
