As a former valet parker when I was a kid, I wholeheartedly advise you to avoid valet all costs. We did some crazy things in cars.

The one exception is when you get them to let you leave your car up front for a $20 or $50 - and you keep the key.

exactly. that is the only time i've ever valeted. don't do it.

When u think of it. Who usually work as valet park attendant? Young, college men, who believe they are good drivers and can't afford half of the cars they park. And here comes you with your M3 and hand them the key. What do u expect?!!!! My question is: is it reasonable to get the guy to jump in the passenger seat with me, show me where to park, come back walking together and I pay the valet fee? Still keep the key on me.

Some places will. But if they don't I just go to another place. Shit like this happen to often for comfort.

I never valet and always street park. Only valet if they let you park the car or they park it in the front.

I had a friend who used to valet when we were younger and he told me a bunch of things they used to do. For example, they used to have burnout contests...haha
