false brand wearers
I don't know if I'm alone on this.
/start rant Do you avoid wearing let's say Ferrari shoes because you don't own a Ferrari? or a Ferrari cap? or any of their plethora of F-products? What about Porsche polo if you don't own a Porsche? Would you wear a Merc shirt if you didn't own a Merc? I see tons of people sporting Ferrari branded shoes and stuff and I just simply don't think most of those people actually own a Ferrari. When I go in to buy new shoes, and the sales guy tries to push a Ferrari Shoe I always answer "no thanks, I don't own a Ferrari" and they look at me funny To me, it is the same as someone with a 318 puts an M badge on his car, M key chain, M hat, and stuff and doesn't even have an M. What if a guy has a Merc hat on and is driving in his civic, and it isn't F1 season? wouldn't that look weird? Or a dude in a BMW driving with Audi branded everything? so why is it ok to sport Ferrari/Porsche wear when these people don't own either? /end rant

I usually assume they're a fan of Ferraris. Never gave anybody shit for wearing F-car branded apparel. Being a car fanatic I might even bring up the topic of Ferraris if I happen to meet somebody wearing the brand.

I've yet to see it, wouldn't imagine seeing it, and if something as random as that were to happen, nbd. I'd bring up the shirt either way.

I really don't think that's on the same level. There are degrees of difference imo. AMG badges = 100% tool. Hats are either brand snob, tool, or potential enthusiast. Keychains nbd.

I would question the logic of somebody who did that.

Of course you can wear a Ferrari shirt if you don't own a Ferrari. You're a snob, but then again I've never really liked you and I didn't need this thread to tell me you're a snob. It's apparent in just about everything you post.

Using that logic you shouldn't be able to wear the colors of you favorite sports team unless you play for that team. It's nothing more than ridiculous snob logic. If, for example, I'm a fan a Ferrari motorsports, then I should be able to wear clothes that reflect that.
