What year did bmw introduce the latest e93 tail light refinements?
I've seen older models of the e93 and the taillights flare out on the sides a bit like a Lexus IS. Then in the last year or two it seems - BMW has improved the shape of the tail lights so they have a nice fluid shape. I bet a lot of you haven't even noticed this subtle change. For those of you who have - did this change come about during the 2010 model year? |

E92/E93 had the same taillights from 2008-2010.
Starting with 2011 they changed to LED taillights with a slight change to the look. The shape however is identical to previous years.

The fluid look on the inside of the LED taillights makes the outside look more fluid as well - but you are correct - the outside shape is indeed the same. |

bmw guy 2020 I swear almost every thread you create the answer is easily found by searching, this post is a perfect example you figured it out!
I am not one to usually care about "reposts" or "do a search bro" but it's becoming a habit with you!
