Can you even have LC in an MT? You have direct control of the clutch..

Be at rest, foot on the clutch, in first gear, floor the throttle, and the rpm's should rise to the pre-set limit as per the AA software....typically around 3,200-3,500 rpm.
If the car rev's to 7,000 rpm, then it's at the stock limit.

Is this for real????
Launch control for a manual????? If you need that, you should be driving a Civic ... with an automatic.

A corvette also has a steering wheel that VERY CLOSELY resembles that of my old G6....What's that got to do with this? Nothing....except GM sucks with interiors.

I guess the Corvette marketing team gets a gold star for that one. My point was that LC is an unnecessary gimmick. If you can't control the clutch and throttle well enough that you need LC, maybe the automatic Civic is a better choice.

I drove a DCT equipped car for almost two years. Used LC exactly once, just to see how it worked. Would not have missed it if it wasn't there. I don't miss it on my current car.
