Closing rear hatch/trunk with key fob or button in car

Is this possible?

Edit: Apparently it is and I'm a dummy

im pretty sure u cant close the hatch except with the button on the hatch. Good ole American lawyers helped make it that way. All the other countries can close from the inside and from the fob. Someone correct me if im wrong

I don't remember trying to hold down the button on the key fob, maybe I have. I just wish it could close without having to press the button manually on the hatch

Yes I can confirm mine (UK Model) will close using the keyfob button but you need to hold the button for some strange reason. If you let go closing will stop. I find this unnesessary as lid will stop if it encounters and obstacle or obstruction. If this the same in other countries ?

native closing hatch with key fob is not available in US but if you're on west coast you can get that and more:
