I am a huge Bears fan but the way they won was bad. I guess that is the rule and even though It clearly looked like a touchdown. What can you do. Only in Chicago da bears!

Da Bears barely beat the Lions. That's a slow start. Let's hope it can go only up from this point.

Ugh, I wanted to stay out of this thread, but I couldn't.

The Bears have a lot of areas they need to shore up. Fortunately, the division looks weaker than expected this year.

I'm a Michigan fan, and I have to say the victory over Indiana on Saturday was the most embarrassing win I've watched. I'd imagine it was the same feeling for Bears fans eeking out that win against the Lions.

But you shouldn't feel so bad about having a close game with the Lions. They aren't the Lions of the past decade, and they even gave Green Bay a helluva fight on Sunday. So, don't feel bad about struggling against them. I think they'll pull off at least one stunner this year, and if they can stop shooting themselves in the foot (a Lions tradition), they should be able to pull off a .500+ season next year.

But I agree that most were underrating the Lions...given the mechanisms of the NFL it is REALLY HARD for a team to stay THAT BAD for long...eventually they'll get things going the right direction

I agree that the Lions are going to have a huge upset this year and beat a good team. I mean they could have won most of their games already.

I ready today that Cutler may still start sunday.
