Not sure about rear lights or the sloping character line. Still has that banana shape of the old CLS. However, it does look more dramatic and muscular than the A7 and other cars. Interior looks good too.

Taillights are hideous and the solid front logo looks like crap (night vision?), but other than that it improves upon the last model with a more muscular and powerful look - AMG versions should be very aggressive.

That front grill looks awkward. The heads lights are..something that will probably have more of a positive presence effect in person. The rear tailights have a good shape but i'm not crazy about the amount of white in the interior tailight cluster.

Everything else is pretty damn good, especially considering this car isn't sporting the AMG styling package. The interior looks like a vast improvement over the previous model, even though I still think they need to upgrade/improve the window buttons.

Overall, not bad for now. I'm sure after the mid life face-lift this car will very good.

The LED fog lights don't fit in. They make an otherwise aggressive looking car look kinda ***.

My edit

This is just a very rough chop. I think the side character line has to be more straight to give the car a more sporty look than the current lazy look.

Also, for the front I blacked out the silver grille strips (left the chrome ones) and moved the fog lights higher to make the side intakes look bigger. On the rear I made the lights less drooping and straightened them out. They don't sit so low now and the inner cluster design is more horizontal than the current sloping design.

Overall, I think small changes would change the look of the car. Let's not forget the AMG treatment.
