Dinan springs for Z4M - Dinan says they won't operate properly on Coupes
I was on the process of ordering Dinan springs for my M Coupe. The shop called Dinan, and Dinan said they've just learned that the springs will not operate properly on an M Coupe. Apparently they were designed using an M Roadster. Lately they have recieved some complaints that the springs are raising the back of M Coupes up in the air as opposed to lowering it.
Anyone heard anything, or had an issue with their springs? |

My springs have been on for a few months and I haven't had any issues - but I did buy them used off someone who had them on a roadster. Does Dinan have a resolution or are they just telling people not to use them?

Are your Dinan springs progressive rate or linear?

I have no idea what you're saying... They look like my stock springs except blue and a little smaller but handling is far superior.

There are two basic design concepts for springs.
Linear have a consistent spring rate, usually indicated by a spring having coils all the same size. Progressive springs have composite rates with coils have different spacing in the top and bottom portion of the spring.

I believe all dinan springs are progressive. In fact for the most part dinan springs are just repainted eibach springs.

Then they're progressive.
