DCT Question

I have 1100 miles on my M3. When I start the car for the first time of the day and put the trans in reverse, is it normal for the engine to rev a bit even though the car is hardly moving. Kind of sounds like the car has a regular manual trans and I am slipping the clutch. I don't believe the trans does it once its warmed up. Maybe its a little low on fluid and when it warms up the trans responds right away?

I imagine the dealer needs to use a scan tool to check that there is enough fluid.
