M DCT expert pin from M Power Drive

Did anybody get this at their M POWER TOUR for DCT promotion? Since BMW has already introduced DCT for M cars, and is not going to do it again... this promotional pin has pretty much became a collectors item... If you have one of these, what do you do with it?

At the event I got one, then I sent my girlfriend to get a few more from sign up desk, so I got a few now... don't know what to do with them. I have 6MT, so these pins/badges are no go into my car, but look great on my hat. I was just wondering what other people do with their M DCT pins... they are kind of cool I have to admit.

But, ///M black tin can/container, that all of us got from the M Power Tour is very cool and most importantly- functional... love it!

When I toured the M factory near Munich last May, they gave us all little M pins. Not sure where mine is at the moment.

was it M DCT expert pin? or just regular ///M? I think "M DCT expert" is kind of funny, and i would like to have "M 6MT Expert" pin as well

I agree, it's crazy... but I guess it's more of a sentimental value, one of a kind, limited production kind of item. After all, what is $60? Just a tank of gas for an M3... or one week of food and living expense for others... oh well, everything is relative... Since owning my car I noticed $100 isn't much money anymore... it's like what $10 used to be before the car...or maybe the times have changed...

I took two at the event last year. They were just laid out on the table. If I had known this would be a collector's item, I would have taken more.

Oh, yeah, my kids just uses it to decorate their own little bags.

... however, I don't think BMW M is planning to give out more of those since DCT already had it's promotion, so whatever is on hand is whats out there. The new 335is will get DCT, so maybe that'll get a DCT promotion, but it wouldn't be ///M . Looks like "///M DCT expert" tag might just become a one of a kind item and sought after. Do you think you might ever want to sell yours?

Have no idea how and when I signed up for event, but BMW called me one day, and rep told me M Tour is in town but it is completely booked up, and if I would like to be on a waiting list in case space opens up. A day or two before event, the rep called me again, saying there is an opening and if I would like to attend... and I said

sure!
I think I was on their list because i filled something out, some kind of flyer or on line kinda thing that I would like to test drive the new M3... something like that. And on some flyer I had to put answer how soon I was thinking I would purchase the M3... I remember writing something like 3- 6 months, and maybe that contributed to getting me on list?
