When does the production of the LCI M3 coupe start??
First of all I am sorry about asking this question again i didnt find a clear answer using the feature.
I am in a very critical situation: My '09 M3 with 4k miles has been at the dealer for 29 days with eletronic problems that they CANNOT figure out! They have changed the whole DME, Idle valve, Throttle boddies and nothing! I am a very good client and i have purchased more than 30 BMW in the past 10 years. To make a long story short, i dont want this car anymore and will give me a new one ( 2 engeneers from fctory came to inspect the car already). So I really need help because I want to get the right production date to get an '11 M3 LCI. Thank you so much for the help in advance!! TCM3

The first MY2011 M3s are March production. But as 2010 production has already been halted (order cutoff was Jan 4 for NA), if you order now you will get a 2011.
There has been a bit of confusion amongst the dealers but as someone ordering ED for April I confirmed the facts as best as I could before plopping down several grand on airfare, so I hope I'm trustworthy. That sucks about your '09. Hope you sneak the order in for the 2011 before they fix it... |

And BTW, I don't believe production allocations exist yet (and prices haven't been published either), so this is all still technically subject to the whims of BMW AG and BMW NA. So you can't actually snatch a production week just yet.
