** Official Super Bowl Joke Thread **

A man went to the Super Bowl game with a friend. When they arrived rather late just before kick-off and on their way to their seats, they noticed that the seat right next to them, three rows up from the 50 yd line was empty. One of them struck up a conversation with the man on the other side of the empty seat.

“Man I can’t believe someone left this seat open”, he said.

“Actually" ...the man across the empty seat said, "That is my wife’s seat. We’ve been season ticket holders for 30 years and haven’t missed a game together, but she recently passed away and couldn’t join me today”.

“ I’m sorry for your loss” said the man, “But couldn’t you have brought a friend or another relative to join you for this game”

The lonely man answered, “Not really ... They’re all at the funeral now….”
