Front License Plate
I'm trying to find out if anybody temporarily put their front license plate on without drilling holes in the bumper. I'm stationed in Germany where it is a must and I'm trying to find a way of placing the plate without destroying the front until I get back to the US.
I know that some BMW owners use double sided tape but I have not seen it done on an M3. The front bumper is too round so I don't think it would work. Any input on this dilemma would be appreciated. Thanks...

We are working on a setup that will mount to the center grill area and hold the plate from the bottom so it does not block the center grill channel. Just got the prototype and will advise when production is ready.

www.rhoplate.com I had it on my 335i. the only issue that I had was that I was constantly adjusting it. it never "locked" in tight enough for a long time. it would get loose and I had to tighten it . maybe I should have used "loctite". |

I love mine. I just bought a really big 19MM open Wrench to take it off for pics and meets or w/e without having to take off the screws for the plate people ask about it all the time when it's parked. It's pretty cool |

Somedays I would walk out to the car after work and see that someone had played with it. It would be tilted about 15 degrees to either side. It was a pain in the butt trying to wash the car with the front plates on b\c if you were not careful you would cut you hands by jamming it into the edges of the front tag. There was an instance where the front tag rotated around the last bolt during the un-install and hit the front bumper. I am so glad my clear bra took the hit and not the bumper.
