Seat belt buckle

I have a 6 month old E92 M3 convertible. The problem I have had from day one of ownership is that nearly every time I close the driver and passenger door after someone has been sat in the seat is that the seat belt buckle bangs against the door. This is causing damage to the door trim and door arm rest!! Has anyone else had this problem?

yes, i have alumnium trim and my passengers always knick the shit out of it.
i starting telling my good friends cause they know im anal, but others you cant really say anything.

what i did, was bought the adhesive thin black foam strip from canadian tire thats used to seal windows, the thinnest one in black, and stuck it onto the side of the buckle, so it absorbs the shock and doesnt stick out much at all.
