Another screwed by the dealer story...

Rant starts:

So i take my car in for an oil change yesterday. I get a loaner and guess what? No comfort access. I needed to insert the fob to start the car and even needed to unlock the doors using the same said fob.

I need BMWNA email address. This ain't right.

Rant ends.

Then to make matters worse. I forget about the no comfort access deal and I walk up to the car and pull on the handle trying to unlock. And guess what? Nothing happens and I have to pat myself down looking for the damn keys. BS to the fullest.

Good thing I skipped getting all the options on my M. Therefore I don't get spoiled by them.

Too bad the loaner shifts before 6000 rpm.

Too bad the loaner doesn't have launch control.

Too bad the loaner doesn't have a bulge in the hood, now you can see evenly over the hood when you drive.

j/k.

Dood, its a loaner --- what you expect??????

I expect not to have to use a piece of plastic to open a door and start a car. This ain't some 3rd world country. I need my hands for other things.

Lets not even bring up the no satnav deal either. I had to go Mapquest on that ass today.
I felt like I was back in the 1990's today. Undue stress all day.

You need to hire a lawyer to threaten to sue their asses if they don't send someone out to open the door for you every time you walk up to the car

I hope folks know I am just kidding here. I remember ny Chevy days when the dealer acted like i was bothering because of a warranty claim. Loaner? Thats your problem.

Glad to hear it... I'm relatively new to BMW and the forum. I'm never quite sure what to expect. I am quite surprised by many of the posts I see/read.
