They should rename this thing so it isn't associated with the Regal of the last 15 years! Looks pretty sporty but not particularly upscale, if I saw it on the streets I would venture to guess a $28k price tag tops

That looks great. It might be tough to get people interested in Buick though. They should've named it something to try and attract the younger audience rather than use Regal.

It's been that way for years, they just weren't using the name on high performance models for marketing purposes like they have been recently. They've been supplying OEMs since the early '80s, but no one really knew who they were. At some point they entered the aftermarket with their own branding, and built a good name for their products. The automakers realize that, and it's mutually benificial for both companies at this point to openly advertise who they're using. There are actually Brembo brakes on a lot of non-performance vehicles as well, they just don't paint the calipers and put their name on them. Sort of the same thing with BBS wheels. They've built a strong aftermarket presence, but there are OEM wheels out there that are made by BBS that you'd never know. |

I took pictures of these racing around the Nurburgring GP track last year, and it looked like some sort of company track day. They are pretty quick and they sound good!

It's a decent looking car, until you see the ass end.

wow it looks great, but it is plagued by the "Buick" name. When I think Buick, I instantly associate it with my grandpa's old buick, and just about every other elderly person out there since it seems to be their car of choice

What about the Buick Regal Grand National/GNX from the 80's? Those things were monsters when modded.

Looks nice, I like the lacross too. Doesn't really bother me that it's american or not, sometimes they make good cars. not feeling the wheels though + interior looks weird, like plastics/bad leather

It's a toady looking fat water beetle looking thing that looks like every other Japanese car out there and worst yet it's a Buick with wheels that were designed by a blind chimpanzee.
What's the point? Will make a good rental and fleet car, tho. |

Looks good, but I still think the Pontiac G8 and the CTS are on the top of the list for best looking American sedan, IMO.
Still not a big fan of owning an American car though. Just not my taste. |
