Still doing the 'Look Back'

After 6 months of ownership, I continue to do the 'Look back' everytime I park the M3. Just take a moment to admire her from a distance.

I had an especially funny one this weekend. Took my wife out to dinner and we parked at the restaurant. We were walking in (she was ahead of me), and I did the standard 'Look back'. The car was just washed, finally got the salt off. While admiring the M3, I actually said out loud, "I just love my girl".

My wife turns around hugs me and says, "I love you too, honey".

Yup...do the same thing!

Not sure how it is around you, but this past Christmas week, we took my E90 M3 on our trip. Went from West Palm Beach, FL area up to Orlando, FL and southwest to Sanibel, FL...almost every person on the highway, every person at the gas stations & on the back roads were staring at my car, pointing at it and thought it was the nicest M3 they've seen

Even BMW owners were amazed to find out that a 4Dr M3 was made & how nice the car looked. Oh yah, had pleanty of people ask if they could take a picture of the car on their phones too.

It does make you feel good

I did the 'look back' this morning, as I do almost every morning when I park at work. It's hard not to!

Hahahah, so funny that I do the same thing too. I feel embarrassing sometime when I do that when there are people around me. I don't know why but I always admire my M while walking away from it and look back at it... I just want to look a little bit more to satisfy my eyes. That is just weird now that you posted it on the forum but I guess it is great if you own something like this and still amazed that you are actually owning it.

8 months of ownership and I still do the "look back". I feel blessed to own such a wonderful car and I hope my fellow owners do too. I hope to enjoy it in good health as well.

I just hit 10k on the mileage today and I'm really really enjoying my M3. I'm just realizing more and more on how great a car it is, just lovin it.

ive caught my friend giving a quick peck to his steering wheel of his 997 turbo...and yes he does the look back as well

he tells me he's a true enthusiast thats why lol
