M Jacket

My wife wants to get an M-Jacket for me as a Christmas gift. I see two non-leather options in the BMW Lifestyle catalog. One is called the "M-Jacket" and it seems to be a water-proof material and does not have a waist band. The other option in the "M-Track Jacket". It is a cotton poly blend, with elastic waist and wrist cuffs. I will not be able to see either one of these in person, so I thought I would tap into this forum for advice on which one is better. Are there any thoughts from those that own one or the other?

and I like it a lot. Fits very well and has a euro cut to it, meaning it is very straight and has a fitted cut to it.

I think it depends on the design. My friend has a Sauber F1 jacket and it looks very nice.

The M Jacket - water resistant is VERY VERY nice... I've had mine for nearly 2 years and has not faded, doesn't wrinkle, gets LOTS of compliments and best of all... really expresses my love for "M" cars... It's nice to wear with jeans and a shirt and even business casual.

I will tell you to buy 1 size up though as it is Euro size. For example, I usually wear a XL jacket and had to get a XXL. My friend who recently bought an M3 got the jacket as well. He usually wears L but got an XL b/c of the Euro sizing...

M Track Jacket - Thinking of buying one... a friend has one and looks pretty cool. Unsure of the sizing though...

Overall, it is a very nice, well made jacket. Even has the M colors thread/stitiching on the inside of the jacket...

beautiful jacket, i own the same one but it feels liek you're wearing a garbage bag and gets your arms very sweaty.

@op: post links to the jackets I own almost all of them.

Love my ///M Jacket and get a lot of compliments. Agree with the 1 up on the sizing.
