2012 BMW 3-Series Photochops (speculation)
From Car and Driver
http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...range_car_news Given what I've seen of this rendering, maybe Bangle's job was to restrain BMW's designers from doing this:

If this article is right , it is more proof that bmw is going with a turbo 6 for the next gen M3 and bye bye to our turbo 6 cyl 335's.

BMWs current design styling with the 7 and the next 5 is worrying me of what to expect of the next 3. the 7 looks amazing and the 5er is sneaking up well but im afraid it wont work too well on the 3...guess well have to see how the designers whip it up
but that rendering is gross

When E92 coupe come out - I was posted two pics - coupe and Mazda -626. That time for me rear of that two cars look the same. Few month later, when I saw in person one in Munich during our factory tour - I totally change my opinion.
This time I will not comment until I see real product. mmm.... no wheels on that pics is

HAHAH no way that is the next 3 series, someone at BMW would have to be on CRACK to even have a rendering done like that... lol
This is a glorified volvo at best. Then again, with recent retardation from BMW regarding SUV/Crossover-"Things", and station wagons (i mean GT's), perhaps a fucking MINI-Van and Bus are on the horizon, along with that shit ass 3-series rendering. |

Agreed. The 7 series and 5 series is one thing but do not over do it on the 1 and 3. I saw the pictures of the new 1 series on the front page of bimmerpost.... They really need to tone down the grill. Although the 1 series isn't exactly a work of art to begin with... :P

LOL
Seriously though, that is one nasty photoshop. I am sure that the final version won't be so uncohesive, though I am a bit frightened by the thought of a 3GT

Ignore the renders. Wait for the real thing before getting worried.

"But for those who want greater control, BMW will offer a three-stage driving-dynamics button similar to that of Audi’s drive select. It will sharpen or soften damping as well as steering, gearbox, and throttle responses."
That's what I'm talking about! I just pray they keep the I-6T. |
