I don't see any blood, I guess the airbags did their job....I'm from Florida, but shouldn't one drive slower with snow on the ground? The speedo is metric, but looks like the driver was going pretty fast.....

snow on the ground does not mean there's snow on the road

I drive on snow everyday but personally, I wouldn't go 160km/h (100mph) on this twisty&snowy road, with trees nearby.

Click on the link at the top right of the picture page to see the rest of the postings. The discussions says that he scrubbed off a lot of speed when the sides and ends of the car hit the trees. The last one says "aha, all are living".

Original thread states all survived and very unlikely speedometer shows actual speed.

The fuel gauge also shows 3/4 full. The tach is not at zero.

Are those studded tires in the bottom (last) Picture? They kind of look like studs.

The car held up very well. I saw one other 135i total and that one a roof of a building fell on it. Even WreckedExocits do not have any 135i wrecks yet.

Talk about an incredibly dangerous place to drive. If you go to youtube you can see lots of horrific Russian traffic accidents.

These are the pictures I showed my mom when she asked whether or not it was a safe car in the event of an accident.

Yep, those are studs... But I have found that on a wet road I have worse traction than I do on pure ice... So that's probably why they didn't help him out at all.

Probably because the tree is a solid piece and when the car hits the tree it wraps around it.
