Fast Lane Daily - Pick Derek's Car
Over at Fast Lane Daily, they are having a poll to pick the new car for one of their talking heads. Voting ends Friday, Feb 13th.
The contenders:
It's anyone's guess right now between the Solstice and the 128i in terms of votes. I had the thought that some folks here might have an opinion on the matter. So, head on over to FLD and click on the POLL tab on the front page. You do need to register, but it's pretty quick. Then click on the green "Vote" part of the button to vote for the car you think he should get.

I didn't see a "Poll" on the front page. Can you do a link for us? Thanks.

I wish I could link directly to it, but the site design doesn't seem to allow that.
Perhaps this picture would help.

I'm registered, but I don't see it.
Is this the guy who's like 4' tall and does some of his "hosting" standing on a box? In any case, is he not ready for a 135i?

Yeah... That's the guy. ^
The only way I know how to get to the poll it to login, hit the front page and then click on the Poll tab. It isn't linked to the hosts or a story. Try, try again - the Solstice is still in the lead.

You're right, it's tab marked Pull under the main video. You don't have to register to see it, but you do to vote. I didn't register for Fast Lane Daily, I am registered for Garage 419 and apparently they are the same company since Matt Farah is on their host list. If anyone is not that interested in Fast Lane Daily, check out Garage 419.
I voted for the 128i, but I'm not sure he's worthy.

I was finally able to vote. I was Vote # 700, and the Solstice is at 681.
Keep voting, it would be nuts to let the Solstice win. While I think that the Solstice is a bit neat looking, and I do love roadsters, if you look at its Repair Count, its numbers are in the tank. The car has habitual repair issues, the BMW does not. Just on that alone, the BMW is better. How could anyone vote for a car that has such habitual repair problems? To me, that just doesn't make sense. "Pretty but crappy" just doesn't cut it anymore.

I like all those cars, they all have something truly incredible about them. But the BMW is my favorite for sure.

1206 (128) v. 1219 (Solstice)
Edit: Never mind. Official voting closed at 4PM ET today. I guess they are just letting the poll run.
