Question What other OEM wheels will fit?

Hey I'm new here....and Im in the process of ordering my 135 through military sales...it'll be my first bimmer. Great forum by the way (I also post over on swedespeed.com) I have a question, and I tried my hardest to find answers before posting so forgive me if I missed it somewhere.

I like a bunch of the other OEM wheel styles BMW has, particularly the 19" Style 179. First will it fit the 135? And second will the factory/dealer install it?

Thanks in advance for the info!!

The long and short is that practically zero will fit.

Perhaps some z4 non-M wheels might work with some small spacers, but that's almost it. The rest of BMWs car line has the wheels between ET20 and ET40'ish and the 1er is hovering around ET50.

kind of sucks because there are some nice factory wheels out there.

good luck!

That's definitely something I've noticed about BMW is that they have a lot of nice factory wheels, it is a shame they aren't more interchangeable. I'd like to be as stock as I can with my 1er, so it looks like I'll have to just go with what they offer. I know a lot of the Volvo models have the same bolt patterns and offsets so the oem wheels are a little easier to swap around so to speak....anyways thanks for the info again!

The dealer can order any wheel for you that you want to pay for. The car will come from the factory with the wheels that are offered as standard or options on the configurator. Your new/different wheels will come in the trunk. Any exchange/credit for the factory wheels at the time you pick up your car will be done only as a favor to you, or as part of your up front negotiations. They can't take the wheels and sell them as new at the dealer, so you might be better off to sell them on eBay yourself.

I'll have to ask my sales rep if he knows about having the car shipped with the extra wheels. I'd just need to find wheels that fit is all I guess. Thanks!

The 261M fit. It is the wheels we get in Canada. I didn't like them at first but love them now.

All non-M Z4 wheels and most E46 wheels.
