I voted passenger seat, but the seat belt warning comes on, so technically the passenger footwell.

Trunk for me.
My laptop bag is doubled as my man-purse and it tends to get heavy with stuff, hence don't wanna marr the leather or risk scratching the dash. |

i dont have a problem with the gong when the laptop bag is on the passenger seat. seems like most of the weight is supported by the bolsters... sometimes it'll gong at me, and then i just reposition and it's happy.

Depends. If I'm going to have to get luggage out of the trunk anyway (such as at the airport) it goes in there. If not it goes in the passenger footwell because I've already learned that the damn seatbelt chime is going to torture me until I put it there anyway.

If I'm heading straight home from work, I put the laptop bag in the back seat. If I need to stop somewhere, it goes in the trunk.

Me too. I hate the seatbelt chime.

I didn't buy a Coupe to huck a bag over my center console, The footwell behind my seat is one of my most valeuable storage spaces for stuff that always comes with me.

Which is why I really could never deal with a 2-seat roadster.... I put everything that isn't luggage in the back seat footwell. If I have to jam on the brakes or make a sudden turn, it doesn't have far to fall, and it doesn't obstruct the seat if I have a passenger. With coupes it's easier than a four-door....open door, seat forward, bag on floor, seat back, sit down. |

FTW! Keeps it out of the direct heat of the passenger footwell, keeps the laptop standing upright, and generally feels safer to me.

Passenger footwell here too! A bit awkward to get it flat enough to keep from tilting every time I stop, but I'm getting pretty good at the correct sling to get it flat on the floor.

Stick it in the trunk and you NEVER have to worry about forgetting it.
The 1 very time in like 20 years I did forget a bag for 1 hour, I came back...ahhhh!!! SMASH AND GRAB! Did police report then insurance only to find out it was a 1 k deductable. Not to mention what it will do to policy. Bottom line learn from my stupid mistake... Well if you live in a sleepy town maybe you don't need to. But any1 in a big city yer just nuts to chance it. We are out for very hard times going in to the next 10 years. Don't give kids/street ppl a reason to smash and take your stuff. EspressoBoy PS Was in my previous car, not the 1. |
