Weird Headlight Feature
I was turning left behind a shiny freshly washed car today, and noticed that when I put my signal on, the center of my front headlight lit up/fogs up as to almost become more noticeable... to oncoming traffic?... maybe telling them that I'm there and in fact turning left or right.
It lights up every time and I can only notice it when I'm either outside of the car looking at the light and have my blinker on, or when I'm looking in the reflection of the car in front of me... Anyone know what this is actually for? Or is my assumption in the first paragraph right?

It's part of the adaptive headlight feature. It'll fade out if you don't turn fast enough… but when you actually turn the wheels, the light will come on. It stays focused straight ahead while your xenons turn slightly in the direction of travel.

Yeah, that feature is reallly great for safety purposes.
