nice post guys I think I will go 19's but for the guy wanting 18lbs rims thats not that light for an 18.. I have 18x8 volk ce28 on my subaru and they are under 15lbs im sure.. Also I know that wheel weight is like 10x that of in the car weight; or so I'v been told.

the grey (sparkling graphite metalic) 135 is running 18" CSL reps. My car is on H&R sport springs now but KW V2's will be my next upgrade.

There's a great thread located here if you want to check out 19" and 18" CSL wheels... It's a showroom thread with all those wheels and colors in there for the 1er:

Are there any pics of silver CSLs in 18in on Jet Black? (or any dark color?) I may be interested in pulling the trigger but all I've seen are black and gray wheels, no silver on dark colors.

Thanks. If that is to me, thank you Haha, I am mounting them for good tomorow along with the red studs so a photoshoot is coming soon. Quote:
I want to get rid of the H&R sports and get some coils though. The back is way too high. |

would 18's look better with a lip or concave? Im thinking 19's for me with a lip but cant decide. We have to keep this thread going for others who are trying to decide.

i think the 19's on a car this small look too big. i actually like the look/size of the 17's on my 128i, but if you like bigger wheels i think 18's are perfect.

Go 18's for a high performance setup. 19's with the right tire are still "high performance", just heavier than 18's and thinner sidewalls. Nothing wrong with going either route.
Here are staggered 18's on our car. Non-staggered 18's. Same wheels as above but non-stagger. |
