2000 528i Limp mode

My 2528I is going into limp mode. I recently replaced my throttle body and mass airflow sensor I have a valve cover leak and a small coolant leak but not sure if that would throw it into limp mode, I also checked the fuses and the grounds going to the throttle body and the mass airflow sensor and they were fine. The only light on is "Service Engine" light and the "EML" light turns on while in limp mode, I got it scanned and the only thing to come back was the throttle body, but it was just replaced. So I'm stuck on what to try next. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I would inspect and test wiring and connector at the throttle body.
