front tire question-please help!

I currently have 225 Bridgestone reo1's on the front of my 1 with 255's in the back. I have completely worn out the reo1's in the front(just 2 de events) and need to replace this week for another event. The Bridgestones did ok but if I could get alittle stickier tire in the front, it would be better. I still have to drive the car a couple of hundred miles to these events so I cannot go to a r compound.(this would really help this pushing problem) I put Dinan camber plates on it and it did no help. Anyway, what tires do you guys think I should go with or just stick with the Bridgestone's?

Thanks a million
Kerry
