Unpopular opinion, but every time i saw these cars in person they looked like they are an old boat that's hogging. So I never liked them, they looked like crap.
Today? I really like that finally tuners are able to bring them back to glory as intended with their full shark nose glory. So I only see them in great shape, so I totally get it. This is another great example. 3.0CSL of the era.

This and the E21 3er were my first BMW loves. Spent many hours wandering the BMW lot gazing in the windows of the E24 in particular trying to memorize every detail. I was only 16, so I was never brave enough to actually go to the dealer and ask to look at one or sit in it. I fell even more in love when it was Maddie Hayes car in Moonlighting.
