G80 PPF Carbon roof?
I was leaning towards using PPF on the roof amongst other places on the car. I've heard it is a weak spot that can have issues with the clear coat over time etc. I've heard a few folks say do not PPF the roof Am I missing anything here? I have yet to ever PPF a car, but I know the current films are pretty good compared to the older ones that would yellow over time etc. I'm just trying to protect the investment as best I can. Thanks for any info!

Yes, PPF the carbon roof. Search for delaminated carbon roof in the F80 section to see what happens to it if it gets too much UV damage after several years or if it gets a rock chip.

That is what I was figuring, but I've seen multiple folks say to just use a high quality carnuba wax on it. That didn't make as much sense to me compared to PPF.

So happy I got my carbon roof wrapped...as I sit and watch every bird in my neighborhood dropping bombs on it.

I plan to do that on the G80 as well. Quality PPF will also give you maximum UV protection what ceramic coating and wax cannot, plus the added benefit of protecting from other stuff.
