LeMans - Montego Compared
Since Ive see alot of Debate about which color is which, Ive put this together quick from the BMWUSA & BMW UK websites configurators to (Hopefully) better show the differences between Montego and LeMans. IMO The Lemans from the UK config doesnt look like the actual pics we've seen.
If anyone has some Real life pics of the 2 that they want to post up side by side,...I think that would help more. This is a start though. (Montego is the one on the left) |

Am aware, (But Not Happy) about the fact that we cant get LeMans here in the states. Not a huge Diff in color between the 2,..but enough to make me go Blue instead of SGM like Im currently planning. |

Hey Cracka,...just saw you're doing Performance Deliv.:headbang: Be sure to write up about the Details. Im 90% sure thats the route I want to take as well. Just waiting on a test drive, and perhaps a chance to see a 1er in SGM or Montego in person to help make my final color choice. |

Montego has a purpley blue look to it in person. Whereas Le Mans looks more pure blue (though I'm not sure if I've seen it on person before). In this picture the colours look closer than they probably are.

Yes, in overcast Montego almost has a Cobalt blue look to it, but in the direct sun it looks almost like a light blue. It really is a more dynamic color than Lemans and really cool!

In person, I find Montego to react more with light, as Templedogg said. I find LeMans to retain its deep blue characteristic more consistently in varying light. |
