Hard Top
If you could get a hard top for the convertible, would you get that over the coupe?
I like the idea of a convertilble in the spring & fall, but in the winter & summer, I have no interest. |

No, too heavy to suit me. I got convertibles out of my system decades ago, so I'm biased. But I doubt there will ever be a hardtop option so it's a moot point.

Well lets see hardtop 335i vert with hard top down = zero boot space and with even less boot space in the 135i you're looking at disaster so yea, another reason why there'd never be a hard top fold down version (besides the pricing of course)...
I mean look how ridiculous the pricing is on the current 3er vert range compared to the 3er coupe range. |

I would buy the convertible if i wasnt so worried about performance. They are nice. My first car was a 86 Dodge 600 coupe convertible :headbang:. Haha, A convertible is an awesome experience and I loved it, especially at night. So its a toss between what you want. If you dont want to sacrifice the power, dont get the convertible. If you dont mind sacrificing the power, go for the convertible, its an awesome experience. But hardtop is always better than softop. Softops take alot of care.

hard top verts used to interest me but after riding in one...its not the same as factory hard tops in respect to road noise and looks
it just looks so forced? if that makes any sense plus it throws off the center of gravity in all sorts of weird ways
