135i ordered :-)

I've just posted this in the "UK" forum, but then I figured most of you probably don't go there....

Just placed an order for a 135i - Le Mans blue, 'lemon' leather, pretty much all the kit apart from sunroof, tinted glass, towbar, active steering and ski-bag, none of which I need or want.

Complete change from the RS4 (well, apart from being a petrol engined car with two turbochargers of course  ).

I'm just a tiny bit excited about it - I'm really sad to see the RS4 go (the new purchase is driven by company car allowance rules...) but I'm sure the 1 will make me feel better about it!

Congrats! Enjoy the SWB 335! Envious that you can order w/o the sunroof. I'm sure you'll miss the RS4 but this seems like a great alternative. For years we never got the hot Audis like the RS2 or S2, now it's kind of an embarrassment of riches.

Contrats I'm the UK to but yes, there does seem to be lot tumbleweed rolling through the UK forum:smile:

That sure is a lot car to live up to - although if the reviews are anything to go by the 1'er should give it a good go. Prob a bit more nimble and fun.

How long till delivery?

135 should be as fast as the RS4, right? Maybe slower on the launch due to awd but around town should be just as quick and probably more fun due to the size difference.

Not as quick out of the box, no. My RS4 has 450bhp and over 480 ft-lb - 1/4 mile in 12.5. However, the 1 will be more fun in anything other than a stright line..... and then of course there is the tuning to be done
