135i for only one year?

I heard a new law requires carmakers to use the actual displacement in badging of cars in 2009 (130TT?) Has anyone else heard about this. Could 2008 be the only year for the 135i in NA ?

Untrue. Even if it were true, putting displacement on the cars doesn't mean you have to rename all cars.

So that means the M3 would need to be renamed the 3-4.2NA. Yeah sounds like :bs:

I think it'd be 420M

I think the TT's too slow. You think it's fast but believe me the 335i and TT are a world apart, imagine the 135.

I believe he intended TT to mean Twin Turbo, not the audi.

I think I read about the new law in Bimmer Magazine. I'll get by the bookstore 1st chance I get and doublecheck.

Trust me - there is no new law which restricts the naming of vehicles (other than existing copyright/trademark law). By chance that wasn't an early copy of an April issue you may have read? ; -)
