Saved from Boredom...

Since things are quiet or I should say at my end very hectic as film and photography for new
BMW 1er Cabrio which will be officially revealed in November prior to it's debut at the NAIS alongside the BMW 1er Coupe has commenced. After the "Intensity" Concept for the Coupe , The Cabrio becomes well... less intense. As you can see this is the 123d in Cashmere Silver the original color for the Cabrio.

Press and media drives commence in September for the new BMW 1er Coupe just after the World Premiere at the IAA in Frankfurt .

In the meantime you will soon be able to pick up a miniature of the new BMW 135i Coupe in 1/87 , 1/43 and 1/18* scales should help your fix until the car arrives in the Spring.

Scott,
Thanks for that as I'm going for the 1er Cab to replace my 2003 Z4.
Do you have any way of knowing if the Cab and/or Coupe will make it to the Canadian International Auto Show (CIAS) in Toronto in February ??

Thanks 'scott26'!!

Thanks also for explaining why we haven't seen any outside reviews of the car yet, it won't be placed in journalists' hands until after the IAA in early September.

Enquiring minds would like to know if, given the monthly magazines' deadlines, that having articles appear in them at launch is not critical these days? Has the internet usurped their claim to getting an early glimpse?

Perhaps they'll consider coming out with a 1/1 scale replica before the Spring...
